Several hundred Vancouverites assembled on the steps of the city’s Art Gallery last Sunday to smoke a joint in commemoration of international pot day: 4:20 pm on the twentieth day of the fourth month.
The cloud of smoke they produced was visible two blocks away, and could be smelled for three.
A woman, recently emigrated from Virginia, said it was the first time in her life that she had seen someone—let alone an entire crowd—smoke marijuana.
I hope she was planning to stay because whether she inhaled or not I’m sure they won’t let her cross the boarder now. She’s a Canadian now.
